The drivers for this device are not installed code That is a working solution – it solved my problem so thanks again: Please let us know how it works out for you. Last edited by hmscott; at I was getting the same error.
Last edited by CladMaster; at My hardware worked in the fall but come spring the card reader did not.

The aasus time I tried his suggestion it didn’t work then I realized I might not have upgraded the Intel drivers even though I had the latest downloaded. For the most part device manager doesn’t even recognize the card reader exists When the SD card is not connected the error 45 code is present.
